March 12, 2020
The Board of Directors, leadership and staff of the Vail Valley Foundation place the health and well-being of our employees and their families, our supporters, guests and the people we serve across our many events, venues and programs, as a top priority.
Effective immediately, the Eagle County Department of Public Health and Environment has issued a standing public health order prohibiting events of 50 people or more effective immediately through April 8, 2020.
The order includes certain exceptions including public schools and childcare. See the complete Eagle County order HERE.
The Vail Valley Foundation stands in full support of the recent order and is enacting appropriate measures across all our events, venues and programs.
YouthPower365
In following with the determination of Eagle County Schools and Eagle County public health officials, YouthPower365 classroom-based activities, such as the Magic Bus Mobile Preschool, after school PwrHrs, Girl PowHER, The CLUB and PwrOn school day programming, are scheduled to continue as long as our area schools are in session.
However, all YouthPower365 sports activities are cancelled, effective immediately, now through April 8. In addition, PwrUp for Success scheduled for March 25th is postponed; we hope to reschedule in the future if possible.
In the event of any changes to upcoming services or events, further information will be made immediately available via bilingual communications via all YouthPower365 and Vail Valley Foundation communications channels.
