Each week of the Camp of Legends will focus on different characteristics of what it means to be a hero and follow your call to adventure. We believe your goals are worth the quest! Each week we will design our quests, set new goals, and challenge views on what it means to be a hero. Camp of Legends will provide you with a chance to push beyond your own boundaries and better understand yourself and the world around you. Whether it’s helping to make our community a better place, or engaging in adventure, this camp will broaden your horizons and lead you to your inner hero. Lunch and snacks provided. Transportation available as needed. Enrollment dependent on application acceptance.

Where will my students attend camp?

Eagle Valley Middle School and Homestake Peak Middle School will be open to students in incoming grades 6th through 8th. Students will be grouped according to grade. Choose whichever location works best for your family.

How much does camp cost?

$50 a week per family; Full scholarships available.

Who is eligible to attend camp?

Any student who resides in Eagle County who will be in 6th-8th grade next year.

Will there be transportation to camp?

Transportation will be provided. However, there will be distance limitations. We will let you know upon registering if your location qualifies.

Lunch and snacks provided.

What if I need to cancel my enrollment?

Please contact the program coordinators. You can find the contact info on your Eleyo profile, in the Manage Programs section of the participant information once you log-in.

Do I have to enroll for the full four weeks?

Yes. Middle School Camp builds each week. In order to the students to get the most our of this program, we will need them to attend the full four weeks.

Magic Bus

AGES 3-5

The free Magic Bus Mobile Preschool Program provides three to five year old’s who don’t attend a traditional preschool with class time and parent support to successfully prepare for kindergarten. The program holds classes in various neighborhoods from Dotsero to Avon, offering four hours of class time per week over two days weekly.

The Steadman Clinic COPA

YouthPower365’s The Steadman Clinic COPA is a seven-week youth soccer program starting in June for children of ages 3-17. This program aims to keep children throughout Eagle County engaged in the summer months while providing a structured environment that instills self-discipline, builds self-confidence, and strengthens connections to their peers, family, community, and soccer skill building.

HER Film Camp

HER Film Camp offers girls and gender non-conforming youth an opportunity to learn the art of storytelling through film production. Campers are encouraged to explore their talents, be bold and brave, and understand their potential impact. This summer, we’re offering a unique adventure session: Outdoor Storytelling.

Ages: 12-18

Time: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Cost: $50/week; full scholarships available

OUTDOOR STORYTELLING: JULY 18-22

For Outdoor Storytelling, campers will document an outdoor adventure and create their own original film. This session of camp focuses on a documentary approach to filmmaking and offers endless opportunities for creativity.

Very Young Composers

JULY 18 – 27

Monday – Friday, 1 – 4 p.m.

Very Young Composers, a program of YouthPower365 in partnership with the New York Philharmonic and The Playground Ensemble, allows students of all backgrounds to create their own musical piece from start to finish, during a week-long workshop. With the help of teaching artists, students learn to compose for different instruments, write a short story, and set the story to music in a step-by-step process. The program will culminate in a public performance by professional musicians of all the student compositions. This program was brought to Vail in 2006 by its creator, Jon Deak of the New York Philharmonic. No previous music experience is necessary, the only requirement for entrance is a love of music and a willingness to engage in it.

Ages: 8-18

Cost: $25; scholarships available.

Summer of Dragons Elementary PwrHrs Camp

JUNE 20 – 29, JULY 6 – 15

Children will soar through this camp with dragon-themed learning, hands-on projects, and traditional summer camp favorites. With a focus on resiliency and creativity, students will engage in activities that reignite problem solving skills in topics like engineering, literacy, and art. Outdoor fun and creative play will launch and land camp every day. Lunch and snacks provided. Transportation available as needed. Registration dependent on application acceptance.
