How Students Are Selected for Summer Camp
YouthPower365 does not use a first-come, first-serve registration model for our camps. Completing this application does not guarantee that your student or family will have a spot in camp. Limited spots are available, and those spots are based on the availability of qualified teachers to meet our required 1:15 ratio. YouthPower365 uses the following combination of criteria to prioritize acceptance into camp. Even if a family has all of the criteria below, there may still not be enough spots for their student.
- The student (s) received an invitation to participate in camp from Eagle County School District.
- The student (s) attended 2024 YouthPower365 Summer Camp and is currently a student in PwrHrs afterschool.
- The student (s) attended 2024 YouthPower365 Summer Camp
- The family’s household income is below the Average Medium Income (AMI) for Eagle County.
- The student (s) has a sibling that meets all the criteria above.
- The family guarantees that their student (s) will attend every day of camp
Families of accepted students will be notified by April 7.
If you do not hear from YouthPower365 in an email/text by April 11 your student(s) are on a waitlist for Summer Camp.
