YouthPower365 unveils new middle school summer camps for 2025

Eagle, Colo., March 24, 2025 — The Vail Valley Foundation’s YouthPower365 is proud to announce an expanded lineup of engaging and educational summer camps designed specifically for middle school students. The 2025 summer program features three new week-long camps in June and early July, offering diverse experiences from sports to culinary arts and outdoor adventures.

The 2025 middle school summer camp season includes:

Soccer Camp (June 16-20) – In partnership with One Soccer, this elite training opportunity brings coaches from around the world to help middle schoolers develop their soccer skills through diverse training styles and international perspectives. Young athletes will receive professional-level instruction designed to elevate their game in an inspiring, supportive environment.

Future Chefs and Career Exploration Camp (June 23-27) – This hands-on culinary adventure allows students to explore the exciting world of food preparation while discovering various career opportunities. Participants will learn kitchen skills, food science, and gain exposure to different professions in a fun, engaging setting.

Ultimate Exploration Camp (June 30-July 3) – An adventure-focused experience encouraging students to step outside their comfort zones through outdoor activities, team challenges, and community exploration. Each day offers new discoveries and opportunities for personal growth.

“We’re thrilled to expand our summer offerings with these exciting new middle school programs,” said Sara Amberg, Executive Director of YouthPower365. “These affordable camps not only keep students active during summer months but also foster personal growth, community connection, and new passions. We’re excited about how these new programs complement our established favorites, creating a comprehensive summer of opportunity for children of all ages throughout our community.”

The new middle school offerings complement YouthPower365’s established summer programs:

COPA Soccer (June 2-August 3) – A beloved summer soccer program for children ages 3-17 featuring weekday practices and Sunday games. COPA keeps children throughout Eagle County engaged all summer while providing a structured environment that instills self-discipline, builds self-confidence and soccer skills, and strengthens connections to peers, family, and community. REGISTRATION FOR THIS CAMP IS FULL.

Elementary Summer Camp (June 16-July 3) – In partnership with Eagle County School District, this program serves incoming 1st-5th graders, combining academic enrichment with exciting activities. Campers enjoy interactive math and literacy lessons alongside hands-on STEM projects, outdoor physical activities, and educational field trips.

YouthPower365 programs are designed to be both fun and low-cost. No child is turned away from camp due to an inability to pay fees. Students who qualify for Free & Reduced Lunch programs are eligible for an enrollment discount, and all camps include snacks and hot lunches daily. Transportation may be available depending on location and bus driver capacity.

YouthPower365 uses a priority-based selection process rather than a first-come, first-served model. Limited spots are available based on qualified teacher availability to maintain a 1:15 teacher-to-student ratio. Selection criteria include guaranteed daily camp attendance, previous YouthPower365 summer camp participation, a household income below Eagle County’s Average Medium Income (AMI), and more. Soccer Camp applicants must also secure a coach recommendation. Students not initially accepted will be placed on a waitlist.
