The years before a child reaches kindergarten are among the most critical in influencing their learning. YouthPower365 early childhood initiatives ensure that every child, from birth through age five, has access to the tools needed to establish a strong early learning foundation.
Our early childhood academic programs include: The Magic Bus (mobile pre-school), and Parent Mentors (parental engagement, classroom volunteerism, professional development). Both programs are taught in a nurturing, bilingual setting.
Parent Mentors engages and empowers trusted adults in their own children’s education, as well as many other elementary students’ school experiences. Our program provides training and support to help develop participants into educational leaders and role models in their schools and communities through volunteerism.
The free Magic Bus Mobile Preschool Program provides three to five year old’s who don’t attend a traditional preschool with class time and parent support to successfully prepare for kindergarten. The program holds classes in various neighborhoods from Dotsero to Avon, offering four hours of class time per week over two days weekly.
