Magic Bus Mobile Preschool

(Ages 3-5)

Our free Magic Bus brings high-quality early learning directly to families across Eagle County, from Dotsero to Avon. Traveling into neighborhoods four days a week, the licensed, bilingual program offers play-based learning for children ages three to five that builds social-emotional, language, early literacy, and math skills. Through individualized instruction and regular family conferences, Magic Bus makes early learning accessible, convenient, and joyful.

ABOUT MAGIC BUS:

Started as a Book Mobile in Minturn, CO.
In 2007, Magic Bus became the first mobile preschool to operate in Colorado.
First mobile preschool to receive a Level 4 Quality Rating from the State of Colorado.
1,785 hours of quality instruction, family learning, and wrap around support.
21% of Youth Power scholarship recipients are Magic Bus graduates.

RESEARCH:

Even brief exposure to high-quality early childhood education supports foundational cognitive and social-emotional development and is associated with long-term outcomes, including higher rates of high school graduation and post-secondary participation, according to the Administration for Children and Families.

EXPANDED OUTREACH IN 2025:

We worked with the Eagle Valley Library District’s Book Mobile and Family, Friends, and Neighbors providers to provide learning engagements for 25 new children.
The bus added 112 miles to its route to reach rural and underserved communities in Red Cliff and Sweetwater.
