PwrHrs afterschool (GRADES K-5)
Our PwrHrs Afterschool elementary programs improve students’ achievement, education and engagement in school through extended learning and enrichment opportunities during the school year.
AFTERSCHOOL EXPLORERS (GRADES 6-8)
Our Afterschool Explorers program focuses on empowerment and belonging, and continues the long-standing work of our previous Girl PowHER and The CLUB programs to instill a sense of self through meaningful connections, enrichment, and adventure activities.
CULINARY CLUB (GRADES 6-8)
Our Culinary Club program teaches safe cooking skills, promotes healthier eating, and fosters community by involving guest chefs. Weekly sessions involve preparing recipes with ingredients from the local food pantry, and each semester culminates in a Family Dinner where students showcase their culinary skills.
MIDDLE SCHOOL SOCCER (GRADES 6-8)
Our Middle School Soccer program supports student academics while coaching soccer skills. The program requires student athletes to maintain good grades. Students practice twice a week and have games with other middle schools on weekends.
